- Temperature
- The temperature varies a great deal in the West, depending on where you are. Alaska, for example, is very cold, while California and Hawaii have mild and hot temperatures and abundant sunshine.
- Gleiten: 2
- Rain
- The Pacific Northwestern states of Washington and Oregon receive a great deal of rainfall. However, the West also has areas of desert that receive little or no rain at all.
- Gleiten: 3
- Snow
- Where there is high elevation, there is snow. The mountainous states such as Colorado and Wyoming get a great deal of snowfall, sometimes staying on the ground for over 5 months out of the year!
- Gleiten: 0
- More rain! I guess we are staying in again.
