Description: You will now be using the information from your notes and our classwork to create a storyboard that summarizes events/people surrounding the Persian War.
Either creating this online using the template and images from online or using the a blank sheet of white paper you will create a 6 scene story of the events of the Persian War.
Each box should represent one scene from this time period. (for example: you could have a scene of ships battling in the Aegean Sea or one of the land battles)
You could also include events that led up to the war such as the burning of the Ionian Revolt, the training of Spartan boys, or the visit to the Oracle.
In the spaces at the bottom of each window write a small caption that explains what is going on in your scenes.

- ATTACK!!!!!!
- Athens will PAY!!

- Ha!! Your actually going to fight!!
- From seven years old Spartan boys are trained to become a soldier. They would train for twelve years until they were nineteen. Then they had to become soldiers and they could not do anything else.
- The Greek Ionians were under Persian rule. The Ionian Greeks asked the Mainland Greeks to help them revolt against the Persians. Sadly their attempt failed. King Darius was furious and he vowed to get Athens because of it.
- When the Greeks heard they went and held off the Persians in marathon. The Persians were taken off guard by the amount of strength the Greeks had. The Persians noticed that they were not going to get Athens by land so they decided to attack by sea.....They lost.
- The Greeks went to the Oracle prophet, while they were there the Oracle said that a great Greek King must die to save Greece. Leonidas(The Spartan King) Took that to be a sign that he had to sacrifice himself in order to save Greece.
- Led by King Leonidas 300 Spartans and many Greek soldiers,the Persians at the mountain pass of Thermopylae. This gave the Greeks time to go back to their city states and Athens to prepare for war. All of the 300 Spartan Soldiers and Leonidas died to save Greece.
- The Persians destroyed Greece,but the Greeks fled to salamis already. The Persians attacked salamis by sea but their ships are helpless in the narrow waterways. Greeks attack Persians and win. Persians attack at Plataea,once again the Greek army is able to defeat them and they go back to Persia.
