We moving to Canada, to flee war. i'm scared but mom and dad say we will have a better future there.
I'm scared. what if i don't fit in. I miss my family back home.
We both qualified under the Economic Immigrant class program. We need to make a better future.

Today is my first day. i am happy to have a job. i don't understand why Canadians would not want to work here? i wonder why they call this a minimum wage Joe job?
I have to study and then go to my part time job. I hope to graduate here in Canada and then find a job here. I know I can't go home because women are not allowed to study or have jobs. I want to make Canada proud of letting me into this country.
I am worried that if people find out I am sick they will send me away. I have been working everyday since I got to Canada. I am not lazy, just sick. i came for freedom not healthcare.
I am going to my citizenship ceremony today. Some people think that because I come from a certain country I am going to cause problems. I am an honest person and I work hard at a job no one wants to do. I contribute to the Canadian economy.
