- I come from a very rich family from the Midwest.
- But I have decided to start a new life working in the bond business in New York City.
- You know, my father always used to tell me not to judge people, otherwise I could misunderstand them
- Anyways, I have to get going. I'll see you around!
- This place is more than enough for me.
- Long Island West Egg, 1922
- Besides, it is right next door to Gatsby's mansion.
- He is extremely wealthy, and his house is just enormous.
- Rumor has it he throws huge parties where people from all over state come to have fun.
- Anyways, I'm off to dinner at my cousin Daisy's!
- She lives on West Egg, the more snobby side of the bay, with her husband Tom Buchannan. He is an old friend of mine.
- Nick! My old friend! It is great to see you!
- She is just inside with a golfer friend of hers, shall we go in?
- Likewise, Tom! Where is Daisy?
- Hello girls! How are you?
- Jordan Baker, pleased to meet you.
- Nick, it's so good to see you! This is my friend.
- Well everybody, dinner is ready. Shall we?
- Sure, let's move to the dinner table.
- Oh, Nick. You have to meet my baby girl. She is sleeping right now, but I will introduce you later
- That is true, I have never met her.
- Well, let's get to dinner.
- A call you say? Very well I will be right back.
- Excuse me, Mr Buchannan. It appears you have a call.

- Yes, their marriage has not been good lately. Daisy is quite unhappy.
- Yes, it is getting pretty late.
- Anyways, I have a golf tournament tomorrow. I should probably go to sleep.
- Likewise, Jordan. Say goodbye to Daisy and Tom for me.
- Well Nick, It's been a pleasure meeting you. I will see you around.
