- Bullying Comes in many forms.Sometimes it is in public...
- But just as often it is not only public. Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that is carried out ONLINE.Cyberbullying can follow you everywhere.
- It can follow you to school...
- and cyberbullying can ruin friendships.
- Cyberbullying is as cruel as physical bullying and it is a problem with social media.
- It can lead to isolation and depression, desperation and much, much worse. It may take some people many years to recover from the trauma and torment of cyberbullying.
- Cyberbullying can leave a person feeling like there is no escape and no-one that they can turn to.
- It doesn't have to be that way...
- There are steps you can take to prevent cyberbullying:1. Check your privacy settings and make sure that only friends and family you trust have access to you online
- 2. Be careful of what you post - bullies don't need you to help them bully!3. Turn off at night. It is a simple but great way to tune out and give yourself a rest from the drama
