Hi! I can't stay long since I have my yearly checkup later today.
Oh, I just had mine last week! My doctor told me that common medicines and supplements can react with each other.
For example, melatonin supplements can interact with Benadryl or some antidepressants. This can cause drowsiness, confusion, or dizziness.
Vitamins, supplements, and herbs can react with other medicines.
It's important for all doctors to know all of the medicines we take, so we can avoid unwanted effects.
Don't forget to let your doctor know about that new herbal tea you've started using!
