- Rosa Parks was born in Alabama on February 4th 1913, shortly after graduating she married Raymond Parks and together they joined the NAACP

- Her heroic act was when she protested in the bus and refused to give up her seat to a white man and she was arrested shortly after
- YOU WILL GIVE UP THAT SEAT IMMEDIATLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU

- Her act of courage launched a chain of protests and a boycott of the city bus lines for 381 days and her act changed America, now a museum is being built in her honor
