- Lady, lady, lady!— Alas, alas! Help, help! My lady’s dead!—
- Dead art thou! Alack, my child is dead, And with my child my joys are buried.
- O day, O hateful day!
- My dreams presage some joyful news at hand. And all this day an unaccustomed spirit Lifts me above the ground with cheerful thoughts.
- Her body sleeps in Capels' monument, I saw her laid low in her kindred’s vault And presently took post to tell it you.
