- After all his conquest,the emperor Charlesmagne was getting older and in order to asegurated his linage he decided to divided his empire into his three grandsons.
- OH... My grandons,I am getting older and I am going to divide the empire into three parts

- In order to divided the empire into his garndsons he signed a treaty, the treaty of Verdun.which divided the empire into east,middle and west.
- Charles,my garndson,you will be in charge of the west of my empire.
- Lothair, you will be in charge of the midddle of the Carloginian empire,I trust in you.
- For you Louis I will give you the last part ,the east part of the empire
- As it was planned each of the grandsons obtain one part of the empire
- My part of the empire was called the Kingdom of Charles the Bald
- My part of the empire was i the middle and was called kingdom of Lothair
- I was the ruler of the Kingdom of Louis the German
