It was the day before his senior prom and even though I was excited, a small part of me couldn't help but be nervous.
Prom was coming up fast and there were still a lot of things I wasn't sure about. The last thing I wanted was to get left- I will not be repeating Homecoming.

The next day. May 21st.Prom.
Walmart. 1 hour after attending prom.
*Beep Beep*
Dad! Where's the sugar?!
I don't know why I was so worried. He never left me once and even when he went to say hi to his friends, he dragged me along.
After we were all danced out from Prom, we went to Walmart and got matching PJ's. We changed and went back home to watch Twilight on the couch. Even though Prom was supposed to be this big party to look forward to, the parts I remember the best are when it was just me and him.
May 22nd. The day after Prom.
I spent so much time worrying that I wasn't going to know anyone, I didn't anticipate how much fun I would really have.
I learned that day that it doesn't matter how big your party is or the amount of friends you take with you, as long as you have one truly important person to stand by you, you'll have all the fun in the world.
