In return the peasants will pay the knights with food
My friends and close family, they will have land to take care of called manors where farmers will grow crops
The knights, they will protect the manors and keep all the farmers and slaves safe.
Will that be all?
No, one more thing, the slaves will farm in the manors and pay taxes to the knights in return for protection
