George and Lennie camp out and talk about their American Dream. They're going to have a small house and a couple of acre with some farm animals. Lennie want to be able to tend rabbits.
Climax
Please don't yell. Stop yelling, you'll get me in trouble.
Lennie was smiling from a memory at the ranch and Curley got mad because he thought Lennie was laughing at him. He attacked Lennie and everyone was telling Lennie to hit back. Lennie ended up crushing Curley's hand.
Falling Action
I told you! George was such a nice guy and you do bad things.
When Carlson shot Candy's dog on the back of it's head, it's foreshadowing Lennie's death because George shot Lennie on the back of his head at then end of the book.
Resolution
Curley's wife came to talk to Lennie because she had no one else to talk to. She asked him to feel her hair and he never let go so she yelled and he broke her neck and killed her. He also killed a puppy a few minutes before she walked into the barn.
Lennie has hallucinations when he reaches the river. His aunt Clara and the rabbit were basically telling him that he wasn't good enough for George and he's always causing trouble. George doesn't want to believe what they were saying and George came before he could do anything.
He's going to get sick of you and get rid of you.
In the end, George tells Lennie to look out into the river and he starts to repeat their American Dream and George kills Lennie.
