- Hi, I am Jesus of Nazarethand it is 1st century CE. I have just founded the religion of Christianity; weare alike Jews but I am part of prayers in the Christian religion
- Islam
- Hi, my name is Muhammad,and it is 610 CE. I have just founded a new religion called Islam. Like inChristianity we believe Jesus to be a prophet, but we do not believe him to bedivine. In my new religion we must pray five times a day for we were told byGod it will bring us great benefit.
- Judaism
- Hi, my name is Abraham and,it is 6th century BCE and I have just founded the religion called ‘Judaism'. Wemust pray three times a day to build a better and stronger relationship withGod who decided we were his chosen people. We will follow his every command andas he chose us, we do not need anyone else.
- There are 73 books in the catholic bible which includes the five books from the Torah. I am the son of Saint Virgin Mary and we have a set of rules called the ten commandments. In Christianity, we believe in peace monotheism, and purification through fasting (Lent).
- Our holy book is called the Quran which consists of 114 chapters (Surahs), which were revealed over a period of 23 years. Surahs are divided into verses or ayat. The Qur'an instructs Muslims on how to behave and sets out what is right and wrong. We believe in peace monotheism and purification through fasting (Ramadan).
- The Holy Book for Judaism is the 'Torah' which is madeup of the five books of the bible which consists of: Bresheit (Genesis),Shemot (Exodus), Vayicra (Leviticus), Bamidbar (Numbers), and Devarim(Deuteronomy). In Judaism, they believe in peace, monotheism, andpurificationthrough fasting (YomKippur).
