- I wonder if I could fly
- Daedalus was an architect and had a son, Icarus. They lived in Athens.
- King Minos learned that Daedalus helped to kill his pet and sent Daedalus and Icarus to prison.
- We are free!
- While trapped in the tower, Daedalus looked out the window and saw a flying bird.
- Don't fly to close to the sun!
- Daedalus began to collect lots of bird feathers.
- With all the collected feathers, he made some wings and escaped the castle.
- Then Daedalus built some wings for his son Icarus and they escaped together.

- Unfortunately, Icarus flew too close to the sun. His wings burned, and he fell into the water and drowned.
- Daedalus mourned and never flew again.
