- The Sun is also a star! some stars make constellations!A constellation is a group of stars that form pictures in the sky .For example:The big dipper.

- There are 8 planets. Mercury,Venus,Earth,Mars,Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus, and Neptune.A planet is a large body of space that moves around a star.They do not make there own light!
- Hmmm?The stars look extra bright today
- The inner planets are the planets closest to the sun.They get a lot of heat and light.The inner planets are made out of rocks and dust,they are small ball shaped!
- Earth is the third planet from the sun,it's also an inner planet! it takes Earth 24 hours and orbits the sun about ever 365 days.
- The solar system is made out of the sun,stars,8 planets,moons and other objects that travel around the sun!
