- Sir, Godot cannot come today.
- What?!
- Gogo and Didi always wait for their friend Godot. Godot is always busy, but waiting for him is something they'll never forget.
- Maybe he will come tomorrow.
- The two men meet Pozzo and Lucky. Pozzo is the master, and with him is his obedient puppy.
- Night falls, and in comes a little boy. He tells them the news, that strips them of their joy.
- Godot cannot come today. Gogo and Didi are sad, just like yesterday.
