- Tacko is super tallAnd he also loves basketball
- Tommy recently joined the school basketball teamIt was finally his chance to fulfil a dreamHe loved training and improving his skills yet to be seen.But the older boys teased him which was quite mean.
- As the season went on Tommy didn't get much of a game.It was clear that his coach didn't believe in Tommy, which was a shame.Tommy did not seek fame but just wanted to play a game.UNTIL....
- In the final moments of the grand final, a teammate fell ill No game all season was the same.3 seconds remained in the gameand the score was all level.
- It was Tommy's chance The coach called on him"TOMMY YOUR UP ITS THE LAST DANCE"!!!!!
- It was the last play and over the ball flew, landing in Tommy's hands,the clock counted down: 3,2......
- 1.....!Tommy shoots the ball and it goes straight in.the buzzer sounded, the game was over and his team got the win.
- Tommy scored and won the game for his team.He was a hero, at last, it was his dream.His teammates were so happy, the friendship was mending.and most importantly, Tommy's dream had a fairytale ending.
- The purpose of this book is to inspire children of any age to believe in themselves, especially when others don't. Everyone gets a chance every once in a while, it comes down to how you make the most of the opportunities given. That is what really matters.I would like to thank my Mum and Dad for keeping me grounded and all of the young people in my life who inspire my ongoing imagination and ability to think like them every now and again. The future is bright.
