- Hey there everyone! Today, we'll be doing a 'fun' learning about the musculoskeletal system! Enjoy!

- I am the skull. I look like Hydra, don't I. Look it up. I have a face-8 bones, mandible-14 and cranium-1. The mandible is my only movable bone. I house the brain and protect sense organs

- Of course there is kids!
- Then lets go into the magical world of learning

- I am the ribcage. I have sternum/breastbone. 12 pairs of ribs-last 2 are floating pairs since they are not connected to sternum. I protect heart and lungs
- I am the backbone/spine/vertebral column. I help you move, provide support to body and protect spinal cord. There are 33 vertebrae stacked on top of me with cartilage- a spongey substance that prevents the bones from damaging and causing friction while rubbing on each other, in between.
- I am the shoulder girdle. I connect the arms to the upper body. I include scapula (shoulder blades) and Clavicle (collarbone)
- I am the hand. I have 14 phalanges, 5 metacarpals and 8 carpals/wrist/
- I am the pelvic girdle. I connect the legs to the body
- I am the leg. I consist of femur/thigh bone- largest bone in the body. Patella- knee cap. Tibia and fibula. The fibula moves along the small toe
- I am the arm. I am divided into 3 parts. The upper part is called the humerus. My lower part is divided into two parts- the ulna and radius. The ulna is the bone which move along the pinky finger.
- I am the foot. I consist of tarsals-7, metatarsals- 5, phalanges- 14
