- Joseph had a dream about we were binding sheaves of grain out in the felid when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it. when the brothers heard this they got mad and said "do u intend to reign over us? will u actually rule us?".
- when his father rebuked him they sent him off to shechum where his brothers were to graze their fathers flock to see if everything was well and to report back to his father. when Jospeh arrived a man asked him what he was looking for. he said my brothers who are grazing the flocks the man replied and said they went to dothan.

- once they threw him into the well they agreed they would not put the blood on their hands and sell him to the Ishmaelites. when Ruben returned Jospeh was not in sight so he went back to the other brothers and asked where he was, they explained to him they sold him to the ishmaelites.
- when the brothers returned home they showed there father Jospehs coayt and said hat he got ate by a animal and there father was so upset and said he would mourn his sons death until his last breath
