- Expositon: In The Choice by Nan Marion the exposition opend up with the protagonist Zander and his mom in a thrift store. Zander and his mom where buying a pair of jeans. Zander intorduces Xavier and Yuri as X and Y.
- What about these Zander? do you think they'll fit?
- Rising Action
- Rising action : Zander finds a ring in the pocket of his new pants, he hids it from his mom bulding up suspence. Zander alos id it from his friends. During his walk home with his friends he reviled the ring to them.
- Rising Action
- Rising Action: Later that day Zander, Xavier, and Yuri walk to Zanders appartment and talked about the ring, Xavier pats Zander in the back but Yuri dosen't want Xavier to keep the ring, he wants im to give it back to the person that might have lost it.

- Climax: Zander and his friends researched the value of dimond rings. Days of deciding to return the ring or not he decided to return it. After waiting for a while he sees a poster for a missing ring and goes to the caunter.
- Falling action: Zander ask's and employ at the caunter for who wrote the poster for the missing ring and the employ says that the ring is fake. The employ let him keep the ring. Zander asked what was it for and said Zander learned something from his expirence.
- Resolution: Zander then learns that there a two types of people. The keepers and the returners, he was a returner. He ran out until his lungs ached and just thought of giving the ring to his mom.
