  • Act I ; Scene ii. A public place 
  • Act II; Scene ii. Caesars House
  • Act II; Scene iii. The capital
  • The Soothsayer appears to Caesar, his wife, and friend Casca. To warn Caesar about The Ides of March. This scene is important because is he listened he would be alive. Soothsayer: "Beware the Ides of March." Caesar: "He is a dreamer, let us leave him. Pass." Rome (Act I: ii: ln 20-25).
  • Act IV; Scene iii. Brutus's Tent
  • Clapurnia informs her husband about a horrible dream that she has and begs him to stay home. The conspirators were waiting to walk to work with Caesar and Decius job is to make sure he goes to work he convinces him to go. Her dream was the Romans were bathing their hands in his blood. Caesar: "How foolish do your fears seem now calpurnia. I ashamed i did yeild to them. Give me my rbe I will go." Rome ( Act II: ii: ln 105).
  • Act V; Scene iv. War of Philippi
  • This scene the conspirtors walk wth Caesar to work. The concpirators distract Caesar by asking about Publious being exiled. Then casca yells "Speak hands for me" then he stabes Caesar and then everyone does then his best friend Brutus. "Et tu brute" Rome ( Act III: i: ln 75).
  • Theme
  • The ghost of Caesar comes to visit Brutus in his tent at Sardis. Brutus is startled at first and then Caesar's ghost says " Thou shalt see me at Philippi" Sardis ( Act IV: iii: ln 280-285) This scene is important because it is foreshadowing Brutus's death.
  • During the war Burtus decides to kill himself so he asks his friends to assist all say no, but one Strato. Brutus asks Strato "Hold, then, my sword, and turn away thy face. While I run upon it. Whit thou, Strato." Philippi ( Act V: Scene iv: ln 50) Brutus runs upon the sword and dies. Antony finds his body and says "This was the noblest Roman of all." Philippi ( Act V: Scene iv: ln 75) He then promises him a proper funeral.
  • I feel the theme of Julius Caesar is that you can't trust everyone. Even your closest friend could stab you in the back.  "Et tu Brute" Rome (Act III: scene i: ln 75).
