- A translation is plotting points on a coordinate plane using the x-axis and the y-axis to determine the new shape location and tell if it was a translation or not using your input and output values to plot your points

- Well a scatter plot is a bunch of dots on a dot plot put in a relationship or not and if it is in a relationship it is either a liner relationship or a non liner relationship used to predict or determine something using the dots also known as bivariate data set, you can also use a trend line or the line of best fit to help you predict where the next point will land on the dot plot
