- Tybalt Mercutio fight:
- Come, sir, your passado. Benvolio's head full of quarrels is likened to an egg full of yolk.
- Gentle Mercutio, put thy rapier up.
- I am for you.
- Mercutio gets stabbed:
- I am hurt. A plague o' both your houses! I am sped. Is he gone, and hath nothing?
- Mercutio dies:
- This day's black fate on more days doth depend; This but begins the woe others must end.
- *Tybalt comes back*
- In act 3 scene 1: Tybalt and Mercutio fought. Romeo declined Tybalt's challenge so Mercutio took up the challenge for Romeo and decided to fight Tybalt.
- Romeo gets involved fights Tybalt:
- Now, Tybalt, take the ‘villain’ back again, That late thou gavest me; for Mercutio's soul Is but a little way above our heads, Staying for thine to keep him company. Either thou or I, or both, must go with him.
- In act 3 scene 1: Tybalt stabs Mercutio under Romeo's arm when Romeo was trying to stand between them.
- Tybalt dies:
- O, I am fortune's fool!
- In act 3 scene 1: After being stabbed by Tybalt, Mercutio dies from his injuries.
- Romeo feels guilty:
- *Romeo feels guilty for letting Tybalt kill Mercutio*“Alive in, triumph! And Mercutio slain!
- In act 3 scene 1: Romeo Is upset that Tybalt stabbed and killed Mercutio. Romeo decides to step up and face Mercutio to a fight.
- Thou wretched boy, that didst consort him here, Shalt with him hence.
- In act 3 scene 1: Romeo is upset that Tybalt killed Mercutio so he fought Tybalt and killed him for "revenge".
- In act 3 scene 1: Romeo feels guilty after Tybalt kills Mercutio. He feels this way because he didn't take up the challenge so Mercutio did. He feels he should have just took on the challenge and Mercutio wouldn't of died. He is also being selfish because he is banished for killing Tybalt and he is upset he has to leave Juliet.
