- Classmate: "Yes we can make speeches at it!"
- Classmate: "Great idea! It can be like a peace rally."
- Reporter on the phone: "Yes, but you need to make a fake name so that the Taliban won't find out. What about Gul Makai?"
- Malala: "Will you help me make a secret diary to share my information about the Taliban and girls' schools? "
- Malala: "I can't believe we started our school days right here at this elementary school."
- Classmate: "We made the most of this day even though it might be our last time seeing this school because of the Taliban's bombings during break."
- Classmate: "I hope we are able to go back to school after break if our school stays standing."
- Madam Maryam: "Yes girls but we still have to keep our school a secret since Fazlullah insists that girls over 10 years old need to stay home and we are older."
- Malala and Classmate: "Madam Maryam can you believe that Fazlullah lifted the ban on girls schools?!"
- "It was real but I don't think the Taliban will follow through with it. We are not safe here, we need to leave."
- Malala: "Mom, I heard the gunshots making peace earlier. Is the treaty real or is it fake?"
- Malala's Dad: This is not good. It is tradition to only have prizes named after it if they aren't alive anymore
- Malala: "Now that I am back from Shangla, I will tell you about my school and classmates and how we are not scared any longer."
- "Thank you for your strong speech Malala, we would like to give you the Malala Piece Prize and make it an annual award in your honor."
