- Lennie finds his puppy dead in the barn. Lennie ask the puppy why do you have to die for because he thinks George wont let him tend the rabbits.

- Nice isn't it... don't mess it up
- Curley's wife walks in on Lennie and the dead puppy. Curley's wife then asks Lennie "What are you doing?" and Lennie responds with a "Nothing, why".
- Don't yell please don't yell.
- STOP IT! STOP IT!
- Curley's wife then sees the dead uy under the hay and pick up the dead pup. She then asks Lennie "Why is he dead" and Lennie responds with I don't know.
- Lennie strokes Curley's wife's hair and likes it. Curley's wife says it nice and then she says to not mess it up.
- Lennie is shaking Curley's wife to try and stop her from yelling.
- Lennie kills Curley's wife. LEnnie realizes that he kills her and runs.
