- Pompey had just died leaving the wealthy Romans in grief. While Flavius and Marullus are celebrating, causing the rich people to be upset.
- Act 1 scene 2 A public Place
- Caesar is with a large group of people in a public place in Rome. The Soothsayer then predicts his death in the ides of March. However, Caesar doesn't believe him.
- Act 1 scene 3 Brutus' house
- Brutus isnt feeling himself and Cassius offers to help him figure out what is going wrong. We later find this is for is own personal benefit though, as he wants Caesar in his conspiracy group.
- Act 2 Scene 1 Brutus' house
- Caesar, during his large speech, turned down the crown, and fell down due to a seizure. We later find this is because he has epilepsy.
- Cinna is planting a letter in Brutus' chair to convince him to join the conspirators. This letter was written and came up by Cassius.
- Portia is very concerned about her husband due to the way he's been acting. Brutus plays it off as if he's sick though, she see's through his cover.
