- We all have different opinions but some are similar. We'll split into parties based off similar opinions. We can be blue you can be red!

- That's a great idea! We can all campaign around the country and we can discuss and vote who the best candidate is to represent our parties!

- National Conventions
- Then the final nominees will select a running mate to be thier vice president.
- Now lets hold a national convention for each party and decide the final presidential nominee for each party.
- Yup! Then the presidential candidates (nominees) will campaign around the country to win the support of the general population!

- The people split into parties and campaign. The each pary disscusses and votes for who they want to represent thier party.
- Electoral College
- So how does this electoral college thing work
- When people cast their vote, they are actually voting for a group of people called electors. The number of electors each state gets is equal to its total number of Senators and Representatives in Congress. A total of 538 electors form the Electoral College. Each elector casts one vote following the general election. The candidate with more than half (270) votes wins
- There is a national convention to say who the final running candidate is for each party and they then campaign around the country to get people to vote for them.
- Inauguration
- I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office ofPresident of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend theConstitution of the United States.
- The citizens vote for who they belive is the best for the job. The votes go to the electoral college.
- Actually we are voting towards the electoral college
- Each state has a certain amount of votes based on the state and there are 538 votes in total. The president with the most gets elected.
