- Leslie, Jessie, and Maybelle walk home from school
- I WANNA PLAY!
- We should have our own place to ourselves where no one in the whole world would know! in the Woods!
- Maybelle carry my books

- Leslie and Jesse are playing in their kingdom in the forest.
- The only way we can get into the Kingdom is if we swing on this enchanted rope! and we can be the rulers of this Kingdom called Terabithia!
- Sure!

- Leslie, Jesse, and Janice are in Music class. The teacher tells Leslie to go up to the front of the classroom to sing a song. Janice wants to leave and starts to put on lotion. Leslie keeps singing her song. Then, it is time to go home for all of the students.
- Jesse and Leslie are walking home when Maybelle comes along and wants to play. Jesse tells Maybelle to carry his books and she gets mad. Leslie is talking to Jesse about how they should do something like make a kingdom in the Wood. Jesse does not like the idea of going into the woods but does not want to be a coward so he says sure for every answer.
- Leslie and Jessie have found the perfect place to build their kingdom and the only way to enter the kingdom is to swing on an enchanted rope. Leslie said that they can be the rulers of the kingdom called Terabithia.
