- One night, two baddies stolen puppies in a pet shop, they take puppies to their car. There is a dog called, Beethoven, he jumps off the car and runs on the street at night because two baddies are trying to catch him
- The morning, George Newton opens the door for getting the newspaper, Beethoven hides in the garden when the door is open he went into the Newton family's house, but Mr. Newtton didn't realize that. Beethoven go on the stairs and went to the little girl Emily's bedroom. When Emily wakes up, she thought the dog is father gives her, everyone is surprised and takes back the thing says to George last night. George doesn't want to accept them and he told his family that they are not dog-human, they are fish-human.
- While he realized his children like this dog so much so he let the dog stay . Beethoven chooses his name by himself by playing the piano. Beethoven playing with the kids together in the garden everyday.
- George doesn't like Beethoven, because he thinks his kids love Beethoven more than love him and he has to clean up every mistake that Beethoven did. George thinks Beethoven is a bad dog he is annoying.
- George and Alice get a babysitter for their children because Alice needs to help George to do with his business. The babysitter lady was too focus on play the piano inside the house so she didn't take care of Emily. Emily was playing beside the pool with her beach ball, but the ball was jumped into the ball. when Emily was tried to get it, she also falls into the pool, she calling people to help her, but the lady's piano was louder than Emily's. Beethoven knew that something was wrong, so he jumped through people's gardens to save Emily.
- Ryce has a crush on Mark, but she can't get Mark's attention. When she tell Beethoven that she like Mark, Beethoven gets a stick on his mouth and then he goes to Mark, when Mrk take the stick, he didn't Beethoven didn't open his mouth, he leads Mark to go to Ryace, he made an opportunity to let Mark know Ryce
