  • Guys! I think this cabin in the back looks good!
  • What do you mean? They all look the same...
  • I'm fine with whatever.
  • I call top bunk! If a monster comes in, they get to you boys first.
  • Guys! There's a trunk over here! Come check it out!
  • Haha. Very funny.
  • All your bags are here. I need to start driving home now so that it doesn't get too dark for the Loch Ness Monster to come out. Hahaha
  • There's a note on it!
  • But we're the detectives. This is what we do. We need to find out what's inside and why it says to keep out.
  • Who's LNC?
  • Walk around. Get to know other people!
  • Let's go to dinner for now, and then we can talk about it later.
  • Right. We'll go talk to people and get to know them. Look out for anything suspicious!
  • We all have to promise to not tell anyone else about it.
  • I'm Mason.
  • Keep Out!- LNC
  • Charlie.
  • Alex.
  • Keep out! - LNC
  • Kate.
  • I'm Issac.
  • I'm Amira.
  • Welcome to Camp Hydra! I am your head counselor, Nick. Each day, we will have different detective work and learn to uncover clues and evidence.
  • Ayah.
  • Maybe we shouldn't touch it.
  • What does it say? Keep out? LNC?
  • Ben.
  • Blaze.
  • Ayah: This might be the start of our adventure and mysteries here. Also, did anyone else notice that counselor Nick had a necklace with a key around his neck last night?
  • Kate: So what's his big secret then? Why would the note say Keep out? The note also said that is was from LNC. What does that stand for? If the N is Nick, what are L and C?
  • Ben: Are you saying that the trunk is...his?
  • Ayah: I don't know, but for now, let's go start the day's activities. On the schedule, it said that there's a scavenger hunt for clues and evidence of the Loch Ness Monster today. That sounds fun!
  • Kate: Guys! Wake up! The trunk is gone!
  • Charlie: Go back to bed. I'm too tired to argue about this.
  • Kate: I think someone must have come last night while we were sleeping.
  • Charlie: What're you talking about? No one's been here except us.
  • The Next Morning...
  • What was the clue again?
  • I guess we know which way to go.
  • Hey Everyone! Good Morning! Today, we're going to see where everyone is at with their detective skills. There is a scavenger hunt set up around the camp. Good luck solving the mystery! Also, if anyone sees a little briefcase around, let me know where it is. I have some documents inside.
  • Bring your lanterns to the next clue!At least, that's what I'm told.I hear it comes with the morning dew—Sometimes it's humid and sometimes it's cold.
  • You also do that.
  • So the trunk was Counselor Nick's, but if he doesn't know where it is, then who came into our cabin last night? And what documents does he have inside that are so secretive? When we were looking at the box and put it on the bed, didn't it sound like it had objects inside, and not paper?
  • I don't know, but there's something suspicious about him. He's always looking around like he did something wrong and he's checking that no one saw it.
  • Not.
  • FOG!!
  • Run! We're probably the first group to finish!
  • I'm in here for murder. Now listen, this is MY cell. Both of these bunks are MINE. You sleep on the ground, and DON'T EVEN TRY taking anything from me. UNDERSTOOD?
  • You know who you're in here with?
  • And that was that.
  • Ah. You four are the True Detectives. Pleasure to meet you. Your counselor Nick here was involved in many robberies a couple months ago and was able to escape, but not for long. We've got him now. As for you four, would you be interested in working with the police department on some open case detective investigations this summer?
  • Let me go!!!
  • !!!
  • yes
  • no
  • Charlie, Ben, Kate, and Ayah worked at the Police Department on detective investigations for the rest of the summer. Although they often had different opinions on small things, they all agreed on one big idea: Never believe what others say until you have experienced it yourself. Adventure is the best way to learn. Don't let others influence your thoughts, because in the end, it's your life and not theirs.
  • THE END
  • It turns out that the only monster at Camp Hydra was Counselor Nick. LNC stood for Loch Ness Counselor.
