These rights also ensure that you have a fair trial and they create rules that must be followed while you are arrested.
- Equality rights ensures that everyone is treated with the same respect, consideration, and dignity no matter their race, religion, sexuality, age, gender, disability, etc.
- Language education rights allows for all Canadian citizens to attend French or English schools. as well as be educated in their first language if they choose.
