Meg arose from her bed starting the day off on the right side of the bed. meg soon realised that she must have had luck on her side and that school had been cancelled.

As the afternoon rolled in it was a warm spring afternoon, Meg was home alone waiting for her family to arrive back from work and school.She was eagerly excited to hear the doorbell ring thinking it was her family letting her know they were home, but as she reached the door she noticed it was the postman waiting.

Opening the door and greeting the postman she was handed over a gift . She was very surpried by the weight of this small gift as her back hunted carrying it to the dining room having to kick the door closed behind her, and being out of breath to even say thankyou to the postman.
Time had passed, the family; had come home and the house was starting to get restless as arguments between Meg and her siblings started. Meg had forgotten all about the mysterious gift she had received.
A loud screeching sound, louder than the music we were playing happened. All of us rushed outside in a flash to see what happened and so did the neighbours. Thick black smoke covered the middle of the street. A person emerges in a thick black cloak walking straight through to the gift that Meg forgot about.
