The Sahara Desert is located in Northern Africa and is known as the worlds hottest desert. Considering its harsh weather it has the lowest population density on Earth with only 1 person per square mile. People in the Sahara can not use cars so instead they ride camels for trade and transportation.
The Congo Rainforest Is located south of the equator and along the coast of Africa. It is very important to the economy because it is a very large source of wood and has a very low population because it is a jungle. The Congo receives between 63-78 inches of rain per year.
The Savanna is located near the equator and has a humid environment with scattered trees and shrubs. People live in huts and many communities are traditional. Cities are growing very fast because of jobs available because of trade.
