- I landed on Aeolus' island, the wind god, and he gave me a gift of winds bound in a sack. He told me not to open it until we got to Ithaca.
- When I went to sleep, my crew was curious as to what was in the sack and they opened it, unleashing the winds.
- When I was sent off Aeolus' island, I met the Laestrygonians who ate some of my crew mates.
- Then I left the land of the Laestrygonians and landed on Circe's island.
- Then when half of my men went to the palace, they were all turned into pigs. When I found out, I was determined to save them with the help of Hermes.
- Finally, when I forced Circe to change my men back to humans, she gave me some advice to go to the House of Death.
