Run by the president. The president carries out the laws and the recommendation for new laws. He also directs national and foreign policies.
Executive Branch
Headed by the Congress which also includes the House of Representatives and the senate. Their main job is too pass laws, originate bills and impeach other officials.

Separating the executive, legislative, and judicial branches into three separate bodies of power.

Emphasized that the Constitution would create a federal system. Believed that power should be divided between a central and a regional government
Federalist
A movement that disagreed with making a stronger federal government for the US.
Anti-Federalist
A document consisting of 10 amendments that gave the people of the US hard won rights and personal freedoms from the government.
