Although, They didn't have to, because the global economy recovered fairly quicklyAnd the reason for it was a new and emerging sector in the economy, The Soldier Sector, Private corporations hiring employees to serve as soldiers for hire of goverments that cannot afford their own military.
- This new system made sense, Countries now spent less money for the same security, The soldiers were paid more than before and were no longer tools of their goverments and the civilian masses were now content with their new reality without recruitment and with an expanding economy,The soldier sector grew rapidly and became the largest sector in the global economy only 5 years after the first contract between a Soldier Firm and a National government. Now, All goverments have contracts with Soldier firms yet some like the United States, China and Russia still keep a national military to maintain goverment power and geo-political hegemony,Due to the rise of the Soldier Sector, Nuclear weapons were frowned upon more than ever as the security firms viewed those as competitors to them, Thus they led a successful movement to disarm all nuclear weapons so goverments could only rely on them for security and order.
