- In 1908People did not like the way Porfirio ran things so Madero decides to run against Porfirio for president. Porfirio does not want Madero to win the election so he has him arrested .

- From 1910-1911Madero writes the "Plan de San Luis de Potosí" and then leads a rebellion and overthrows Porfirio.

- In 1913 Huerta planned a coup against Madero and declared himself as president. people are not happy about it.

- From April 1913-June 1914Caranza is declared First Chief in the fight against Huerta including Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata. Caranzas army is being lead to fight Huerta. They defeat huertas troops.
- 1914-1915After Huerta’s defeat the conflict deteriorated into a multi-sided civil war.
- The Battle of Celaya
- In 1917 a mexican constitution is drafted and Carranza is elected president. A few years later in 1920 it is the end of the revolution and Obregón is elected president of México and a constitutional republic is established .
- This country will be a Constitutional Republic from now on.
