- I'm Fidel Castro. I'm mad at Fulgencio Batista because when I ran for the Cuban House of Representatives his troops ended the election and got rid of democracy in Cuba!
- I'm Haydée Santamaría Cuadrado. I hate Batista because the only people he helps are in the United States! Down with Batista!
- I can't believe we won Che! We only had a couple hundred compared to their couple thousand.
- I know! We wouldn't have won if we didn't have our guerrilla tactics. Also it helped that Batista forced us into the mountains and not the ocean.
- Down With Batista! All he does is help the U.S!

- Crap! Now we have a communist threat in our backyard.
- You know what, I actually am a Communist.
- This attempt to overthrow Batista was a failed one and both Castro and Santamaría were sentenced to 15 years in prison. However, after only six months, Batista made a huge mistake in setting them and the other rebels free. They regrouped in Mexico where Castro teamed up with Che Guevara and planned the next attack, the July 26th movement.
- President Kennedy we have a plan. We're going to train a group of Cuban exiles and have them invade the Bay of Pigs.
- With our weapons, the plan is fool proof. The one thing we need from you is air support. With planes we have a guaranteed Victory.
- Sounds good to me. I'd do anything to get rid of that communist country.
- The rebels had won and Batista fled the country. This worried the U.S. as Batista was highly in favor of America. They weren't too worried though as Castro had insisted throughout the revolution that he was NOT a communist. However...
- Uh oh. We've got company.
- Where are the planes?
- DOWN WITH CASTRO!
- With Cuba now being a communist country, the U.S. decided to immediately try to overthrow Castro.
- Victory for Cuba! Woohoo!
- Cuba is number one!
- Yay!
- With the plan in motion, everything seemed to be going well. However, President Kennedy later second guessed himself and did not send air support.
- The Bay of Pigs Invasion began and the U.S. sent no air support to help the Cuban exiles. Without the air support Castro's army quickly defeated the rebels.
- This win for the Cubans only worsened the relationship between them and the United States. It led to trade embargoes, sanctions, and eventually the Cuban Missile Crisis.
