- Mark Miler and his son, Andy, are having a bad morning, their truck driver Gary Slater has a bad arm. Just then Kim Parker arrives, who is a student but works on vacation at Mark's company. Kim has a license to drive trucks and offers to take the truck to France.

- The trip is joined by Andy, who brings his luggage along with Kim to work to receive instructions from Mark. Mark tells them which routes to take, where to rest and how often to stop driving.

- After starting the trip, they drive through a couple of cities, until the truck starts leaking oil, Kim gets out to check and confirms it. Underneath the truck is a box, according to Andy, that box contained sandwiches that the other driver of the truck, Gary, was keeping. When Andy and Kim aren't paying attention, a man approaches the truck, pulls out the box and escapes in a red car.
- The driver of the red car, seeing that the box contained sandwiches and that the package he needed was left in the truck, begins to follow Kim and Andy. Kim begins to maneuver to avoid the red car. They arrive at a landfill chased by a white car.
- Andy tries to call for help by calling the police. They arrive, and Kim manages to hand them the gun, while Andy points out where the drugs and the men who were following them are. They give their statement of facts and finally it's all over.
