- The 'Treaty of Versailles' was signed after World War 1 by the victorious Allies and the vanquished Germany. Things that impacted Germany within this time were how restrictedthey were with their army, navy and air force and also Germany had to take responsibilityfor WW!
- 5. Control of the Children
- The great depression was a worldwide financial crisis and caused lots of unemployment and then led to homelessness and starvation. This impacted Germany by forcing 6 million people to become unemployed, and it allowed the Nazi party to gain attention, as they were making promises to "make Germany great again"
- 6. Propaganda
- The Fall of the Weimar Republic was a very tough time for all Germany and the Great Depressionhad a major factor in the struggles that occurred during this time. During this period, Adolf Hitler was made the chancellor of Germany, and later made himself the president andthe "father of Germany". Nazism also became the government ideology during this time.
- 8. Jews and Communists as Scapegoats
- THE JEWS ARE TO BLAME FOR OUR SUFFERING
- Control of the Children was a time when "youth groups" were created to control the young people of Germany and force them to listen to Hitler and the Nazi control. They thought it was a good way to teach the children early to become good soldiers and mothers. And Nazis now controlled everything that was taught in schools. This affected the children because they only received Nazi teachings.
- Propaganda included all types of advertisement from a newspaper, to on the radio and even sculptures and paintings were made just to spread Nazi messages. Many rallies also occurred during this time. It made the Germans excited and alot of them wanted to be involved in the "New Germany"

- This was a time where Hitler and the Nazis blamed nearly all of Germany's suffering on Jews and Communists. The Germans were looking for someone to blame, and they chose the Jews to blame for losing WW1, etc. The German people though that by putting all their problems onto the Jews Germany would be well and good again, but really all they did was create a common enemy.
