- For your penance, say 2 Hail Mary’s, and say sorry.
- Contrition is a true sorrow for sins with hope to sin no more. Contrition is a state of feeling remorse for the wrongs and bad things you have done that made God and others unhappy.
- Absolution
- Confession is the act of telling the priest your sins and being truly sorry for what you have done. When you confess your sins you are showing that you feel bad and want to be forgiven by God.

- Penance is the act or actins done out of repentance and sorrow for the sins we have committed. The priest tells us what our penance should be. Doing penance shows that we are sorry, and that we will try our best to be better and not to sin again.
- Absolution is when God, through the person of the priest, forgives orur sins and absolves us of them. Absolution heals us from our sins and strengthens our relationship with God.
