- Grace just wants to live a normal life, but once she meets Ramesh, Jing, and James, she knows her life is not normal. Grace has moved to Hong Kong with her mom and stepfather. She meets Ramesh, Jing and James at school, but they soon learn that they all have something in common. Dragons. Nate the dragon is the main dragon in the story.
- Falling Action
- Grace was in town looking at some of the shops. She is stopped by someonee. A random old lady gives Grace a dragon egg, and Grace doesn't know what to do. This lady was speaking a language Grace doesn't understand, so Jing steps in as a translator. The old lady doesn't say much, and Grace is very confused.
- Resolution
- Grace finds out she has dragon boold in her veins, and is now determined to save Nate. With her friends, they go to Grace's stepdads work to learn the truth. The head dragon comes to haunt Grace. Her stepdad puts dragon blood in hiss veins from Nate, and he is possesed by the evil dragon. Grace learns that her father didn't actually pass away from Cancer...
- Nate is captured and it is up to Grace and her friends to save him. They search an island far away from home, but little did they know they were being followed. Some her Grace's stepdads workers had tracked them and were going to make sure they didn't find Nate. James tells them a dragon legend from the past, that seemed similar to Nate and the evil dragon. The workers took Nate somewhere else, but Grace isn't going to give up.
- The truth about Nate and Grace are revealed. Nate goes to live somewhere unknown with the head dragon. Grace and her friends still have questions, but know that their work here is done. Nate is safe, and Grace has done all she can. Ramesh, James and Jing have learned so much more too.
