- While many don't care much for the homeless there are several organisations that work to help the homeless.
- Hey stop! Don't be so quick to judge, homelessness is not always a choice.Did you know that 1 in 14 of the homeless population live on the street, others live in boarding houses, stay with friends or other family, though sadly, most live squashed in severely overcrowded dwellings. But they all struggle. It is not their fault ,do not punish them for it!
- You're right there is a rapidly increasing rate of homelessness. I heard that 1 in 200 Australians are homeless!And NSW has the fastest growing homeless population in Australia, between 2011 and 2016 it rose by 37%!How awful having no home or place to sleep, I guess I never saw it from their prospective.
- I'm glad, you now seem to understand! what an issue homelessness is.With 17% of the homeless population aged between 1 and 14, and 79% of homeless people living in poverty, this is a real and scary issue. Don't forget, about 5% of the ones living on the streets die each year.
- I mean, without a home, they would have no shower, nowhere to put their things, no way to clean themselves up, nowhere to cook. They wouldn't be able to stay healthy like that.That would be a miserable life!
- Homelessness is not always a result of unemployment, addiction or mental health illness, although these are factors, they can also be the result of homelessness. The main reasons for homelessness are poverty, lack of affordable housing and domestic violence.
- Its true most of us don't have a job. Employers don't usually hire people who stink and are dirty at a job interview. Wearing rags doesn't appeal to them. We often don't even have the education, or qualifications needed for certain jobs. There are always better candidates for the job.

- Its fine, prejudice towards homelessness is not uncommon. We're treated with disrespect everyday. Denied our basic necessities. People think its our own fault. Becoming homeless is too easy, with housing getting more expensive, poverty rates are rising.

- Such organizations include: Mercy Foundation, Specialist homelessness Services, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Youth Off The Streets Foundation, as well as many more. They all hope to lessen homelessness and the struggle to get basic needs.
- That is far from fair. The world's resources should be shared with all people!
- We are all humans and have a right to survive! Our rights must be respected!
- Yeah! We must always help and stand along side those less fortunate than us.
