- Setting: There is no specific setting, but the story has developed in the school that Jason Kim goes to and in the house where he livesThe conflict: Jason moves to the United States and cannot communicate with others, he feels ashamed and angry at who he is, how he looks, where he comes from.The main character: Jason Kim.
- Falling Action
- The Rising action is when Jason changes his name to look like an American person. Sometime later and after a bit of adjusting, his teachers think that he suffers from a disorder since he is not seen playing with his other classmates and he was isolated from the others. But what they didn't know is that Jason didn't understand how much fun his classmates were doing.
- Resolution
- I am not sorry for who I am, no more.
- The climax occurs when Jason completely changes his personality, loses his essence, and tries to be like the people around him, a "white" American. He disobeys the rules of his culture and adopts a new one entirely. He feels that by changing his habits he will be the one he wants, he will, but that only changes his exterior, he will always be an Asian person.
- The falling action happens when he graduates and moves to New York, he realizes that his friends or acquaintances find it interesting to know about where he comes from, his gastronomy and habits or customs, Jason may notice that it is not about to be the same as others just by living in the same country, place or nation.
- Jason Kim realizes the mistake he has made by feeling sorry for who he is, he now knows that belonging to another culture is not something bad or harmful, but is an advantage for those who know and adapt to a new one. A long time later he managed to realize him and although he did not live as he wanted when he arrived in the USA, he feels good with what he is, what he became.
