- I done a bad thing George!
- Men like us who got no family. Nobody gives a hoot about.
- But not us George not us!Tell em why!
- After accidentally killing curly's wife from his uncontrollable strength, he remembered that George told him that if anything were to go wrong that he was to go to the river and wait for him, which is exactly what he did after he killed curly's wife.
- We're gonna have a little place. We can have cows, pigs and you get to tend the Rabbits.
- Tell em how its gonna be for us George. Tell em!
- George arrives and sees Lennie by the River.
- They sit by the river as Lennie asks George to tell Lennie about their life dream as he has always done before. He tells Lennie to look out into the distance as if he could almost see it
- They sit down by the river to talk one last time about the dream that they were going to accomplish together. Whilst Lennie sits there and listens happily staring into the distance, Georges's sadness increases as he knows what's about to come.
- As Lennie continues looking out into the distance and thinking about their dream, George pulls out a gun.
- George does what he was forced to do and killed Lennie.
