Boiling Pot Part 2

- One day, the pot notices a pan in the kitchen, struggling with the same problem, except this time he was sizzling. However, the pan is not upset with himself, he’s happy. The pot is a bit confused by this and walks up to him, asking how he lives with his boiling problem. The pan explains that it doesn’t matter if you have an overheating problem, you’re still yourself!
- The pot starts to think about this for a moment. He continues to speak with the Pan, and it turns out the Pan get bullied as well! But he doesn’t mind it, the Pan believes that those that laugh at him are just jealous that they aren’t as unique as him. The Pan tells the Pot that he should be proud of his differences, instead of bringing himself down about it or letting others get to him. The pot starts to realize that it’s out differences that make us special, and that they shouldn’t tear us apart.
- Just as the Pot is in high spirits, the stove turns on again. He starts to make fun of the two, bullying them in all sorts of ways. The pot begins to get upset again but the pan is not phased. The pan speaks the stove and tells him to leave them alone, as he shouldn’t be the judge of whether they will be successful or not. The pan then tries to calm the pot down.
- Overhearing another person stick up for him sort of changed the Pot’s perspective on his life. For once he felt like he was appreciated and cared about. So, the pot stopped boiling and told the pan he was ready to leave. They left the stove to think about his actions, hoping to never see him again.
- In conclusion the pot and the pan moved on to live a happy life in a more positive kitchen environment where they were accepted for their differences. Sure they boiled and sizzled and burned food from time to time but they’re still themselves! And that’s all that matters in the end. The pot realized that it’s his differences that make him special, not how well he does his job. And so they lived happily for the rest of their days.
