- My family and I go to my Pappaw's house for Thanksgiving, and we spend lots of good family time together. It is my family (My dad, my mom, my brother, Max, and me, Ella) with my Pappaw, and my Uncle Ben, my Aunt Joanna, and my baby cousin Maggie. Some of the foods we eat together are corn casserole, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, and turkey or steak. As a family we love to play with my cousin, Maggie, watch football, or "The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" together as a family.
- The Natives use Thanksgiving as a time to mourn the people they have lost, and to remember the Natives that have passed. Even though they lost so much, they take time to appreciate their land, people around them, and everything else around them.
- I currently live and was borne around where the Kiikaapoi lived. I will honor the Natives by making sure I always recycle because it will help the earth, water, crops, and everything around us. I will also honorNatives by taking a nature walk and enjoying and appreciating the beautiful earth.
