- Men would all gather to the Colosseum which seated up to 50, 000 people! They would gather around and watch gladiators fighting each other (or animals) to the death! If women wanted to watch they would have to watch from the very back.

- Girls would be married off starting at the age of 7 and boys would typically start getting married at age 17. And when girls were engaged they would receive lots of jewellery from their fiancé.

- In ancient Rome there were public baths! The higher class would visit in the early afternoon because that was considered the 'best time to go'. When they got there they would bathe in a cold bath, then a regular bath, and then a very hot bath, and after proceed to be massaged and the dirt will get scraped off.
- In Ancient Rome people believed that slaves should be taught and kept in line using intimidation and violence from their 'master'. So if one of them messed up or broke something they would be forced to admit and would be punished.
- A common household activity for girls was helping their fathers latest wife weave a toga by spinning the wool that needs to be used.
- At the end of the day small groups of people would gather around and eat dinner lying on loungers and surrounding a low table while their slaves served them.
