- Grandmas Farm
- Hey Sweetie! This is my farm where I grow everything I need for my family.
- Tinny your grandma lives in country with a traditional economy.
- Timmy's dad, Ron, bought plane tickets to travel to Haiti to visit their relatives. In the United States Ron bought the tickets from Southwest which is a part of US's market economy. This means the economy is run by the people with little to no government interference. Ron bought the tickets and had used Uber to get to the airport.
- Next Up: China
- Because of their mixed economy, China is able to balance between the people and government.
- Ron explains to Timmy what they are going to do once they get on the plane to Haiti. Then once they land they will go to visit grandmas house.
- On The Way Home
- You ready to go home buddy?
- They arrived and went straight to grandmas farm to see what she was growing. Timmy learned that she is apart of the traditional economy. This means the economy has been the same since the country started.
- Home Sweet Home
- Timmy, some countries aren't as fortunate as ours, and have a command economy. That is when the government has all the power in the economy.
- After going to Haiti, they went to China to explore all of their big cities. Since China has a mixed economy, which is an economy with government involved, cut also some free market as well.
- How was China able to build such a big city like this?
- Timmy and Ron are finally going home after their long trip. Once they get home they can't wait to tell everyone about their great adventure.
- Timmy was upset because he wanted to see North Korea, but his dad said no and explained why. Along the adventure Timmy learned about all the different economies in the world.
- Why didn't we go to North Korea on our trip?
