- Hello all my name is Mishika I study in Salwan Public School class 6-C. My English Teacher is Ms. Ritu Bajaj I will take you to my English Class as today we are going to start with a new topic Lets go!
- Good Morning students so, as I told you today we are going to start with a new topic which is adjectives. Anyone would like to tell that what are adjectives as you have already studied about them in your earlier classes.

- Good Morning ma'am. Adjectives are used before nouns and give more information about them.
- Yes Mishika you are absolutely Right. So, children Adjectives are used before nouns and give more information about them. and you will be learning 5 types of them in 6th class.
- So children now lets study about the 5 types of adjectives. 1st type of adjective is Adjectives of Quality. They describe a person or thing. Ex. a pretty girl,an honest answer etc.2nd type of adjective is Adjectives of Quantity. They denote numbers and quantity. Ex. twenty birds, one dozen eggs, some books etc. 3rd type of adjective is Possessive Adjectives. They show ownership, that is, to whom something belongs. Ex. My sister, your bag, our house etc.
- 4th type of Adjective is Interrogative Adjectives. They are used to form questions, and are followed by a noun or pronoun. And the last or 5th type of Adjective is Demonstrative Adjectives . They indicate a noun or pronoun in singular form (this, that) and in plural form (those, these).
- So children the time is up so our new topic Adjectives is now over in our next class I will be providing you with some Assignments regarding this Topic and in our further classes we will also get to know about the degrees of comparison. Bye all have a good day
